This past year, Sarah and Jayson approached me to photograph their wedding. As we discussed the details, I knew this winter wedding was going to be gorgeous! They were having their wedding at the Overlook Barn located in the beautiful Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Leading up to their wedding date on February 13th, we had some pretty crazy snow storms in the area! At one point, we had about 3 feet of snow on the ground and I couldn't get out of my house. Luckily, by their wedding date, there was minimal snow on the ground but still enough for a couple pictures.

In the week leading up to their wedding, we experienced some warmer days that were in the 50's! But, low and behold, on their wedding day the temperatures dropped back down and with the wind chill it hit about -15 degrees! There was ice and snow, and snow drifts everywhere!

Their love definitely kept them warm though as they posed beautifully for their pictures. You can definitely tell by the looks on their faces how happy they both were!

This wedding ended with an extremely cold sparkler send off. My hands were beyond numb and tingling when I ran back inside afterwards! It was worth it though with the beautiful and exciting images we captured!
