Last December, my baby brother came home from the military and surprised his girlfriend with his arrival. He had asked me to ask her to breakfast one morning and he would show up. After Emily came to breakfast with me (which she later told me she didn't want to!), Willy surprised her with his appearance! Tears and laughter filled the IHOP that we were at and they both were so happy to see each other!

Later, that same week, Willy wanted to propose to Emily. He had told me a while ago that he wanted to, and I volunteered to help! I climbed to the top of Governor Dick's Tower in Gretna PA and waited for Willy to show up with her. He scattered notes along the walls of the tower that we climbed up, the same notes they had written to each other when they were separated by thousands of miles. Willy got down on one knee and we all know the rest of the story.

Almost a year later, they had their beautiful fall wedding in Lebanon Pennsylvania. I again, volunteered to be their photographer and by doing so, got to spend the majority of the day with them!

Lots of tears were shed at the ceremony, and at some points, I couldn't even see my camera. I couldn't have asked for a better sister-in-law to take care of my baby brother (because we all know he needs someone to take care of him!). I am so happy that I was able to play such a vital part of their wedding, I would redo it all over again!
