When Kate first contacted me there was only a week until her wedding. Her fiance had just gotten called and he had to leave for the military earlier than expected. So within a week span of time I was able to photograph both her engagement session and her wedding.

Kate and Andrew held their wedding at the Concord Point Lighthouse in Maryland. It was my first time there and it will definitely not be my last because the scenery is beautiful and the lighthouse sits just off of the water making for a gorgeous backdrop. I met Kate that morning at an air B&B which also doubled as a horse farm and had beautiful open fields. The house was like something out of a dream and it was built perfectly down to every last inch. The girls got ready and a gorgeous master bedroom while sharing laughs and smiles and beautiful moments.

When we arrived at the lighthouse for the ceremony,  the sun was hot and beating down on everyone in attendance. This didn't hinder the love filled ceremony that took place right next to the water.  After the wedding ceremony,  we were able to get some adorable group photographs of the bridal party as well as some images of just the bride and groom.

After we finished with the posed pictures,  we headed to the venue for the reception. Donned with gold glitter and amazing details, Kate and Andrew celebrated their newly joined union among their friends and family.

Ending their night with a private dance between the bride and groom and then a sparkler exit was the perfect way to send off the newly weds.
