I was born in Trenton, New Jersey but spent my early years in Levittown, Pennsylvania. I am the second oldest of 5 children and probably the favorite. After 2001, my family decided to move out towards Lebanon, Pennsylvania. I spent my middle and high school years there. I graduated from Cedar Crest High School in 2011 and originally wanted to pursue a nursing degree. After deciding that nursing was not the field I wanted to stay in, I rekindled my love with photography. With lots of practice and patience, I quickly outgrew my first camera and began acquiring new gear. My friends and family probably hated how many pictures I took of them throughout those years, but it got me where I am today! My love for photography continues to grow and branch off into new areas as well.
My photographic journey began in 2011, when I first picked up a film camera for a high school photography class. I started taking photography seriously in 2013 when I bought my own DSLR camera. I have partnered with numerous photographers as well as other vendors to get where I am today! I love using both natural light, as well as flash and professional lighting to create my images. I have an extensive background that helps me with posing, creative thinking, and managing situations as they arise. I like to think outside of the box and deliver quality and creative art!
In August of 2014, I was blessed to become a mother to a beautiful baby boy. He is now 2 years old and keeps me on my toes every day! We love reading books together, going on walks, playing on the monkey bars, and eating ice cream!
He loves to sit on my lap and help me pick out "good" pictures. He also takes interest in my camera equipment and tries to help me out whenever possible. If you try to call me, be aware that you may hear him laughing (or crying!) in the background.
I have been trying to take more time and dedicate it to him and stay away from my computer and phone. I will however still take pictures of him, so be sure to check out my blog page to see what we have been into!
I love to have fun. Very rarely will you find me without a smile on my face!
I believe that if we are having fun, you will love your images so much more. Someone very close to me told me that a photograph was a way to relive a moment that has since passed. You remember the smiles, tears, laughter, smells, and people from that time. For a brief second, it's almost like you are back there. I don't just create snapshots, I document memories. Behind every image I take is a well thought out reason as to why it was taken.
Also, I've heard that I'm pretty cool once in a while.
